Lady in the Water Coming to DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-ray

Warner Home Video has announced M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Lady in the Water’ will be released simultaneously on DVD, Combo Format HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc on December 19.

The standard DVD will be presented in 1.85:1 widescreen video and Dolby Digital 5.1 EX audio. Both the Combo Format HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc versions will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video; however, the HD-DVD will include Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 EX and Dolby Surround 5.1 MLP audio, while the Blu-ray Disc will mimic the standard DVD with a Dolby Digital 5.1 EX track.

Bonus Features: “Reflection of Lady in the Water” six part documentary, “Lady in the Water: A Bedtime Story” featurette, deleted scenes, auditions, bloopers and trailers. No word about the inclusion of a M. Night Shyamalan childhood movie, or commentary track as of yet.

‘The Lady in the Water’ on standard DVD will carry a MSRP of $28.98, on Combo Format HD-DVD $39.99, and on Blu-ray Disc $34.99.

  1. That's just the MSRP. You can expect to purchase the standard DVD for $14-$20 at Target/Walmart and probably $25-$30 for HD-DVD and Blu-Ray.
