The Happening DVD Artwork and Special Features

As we announced earlier, Fox Home Entertainment has scheduled an October 7th release date for The Happening on DVD and Blu-ray. We recently got hold of the Special Features to be included with the releases.
- Anamorphic Widescreen presentation
- English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio
- Deleted Scenes with introductions from M. Night Shyamalan
- Behind-the-scenes Featurette: (The Hard Cut, A Day for Night, Elements of a Scene, Visions of The Happening: A Making of, I Hear You Whispering)
- Gag Reel
The Blu-ray release will also feature a Digital Copy of the film, as well as 2 additional short Featurettes (Train Shooting, Forces Unseen) and scene specific PIP.

Wow,that's great news as i was expecting the DVD somewhere around Dec. Can't wait to catch it again!!
Sounds cool! I hope the bonus features are better than the movie, though, haha. I'll be buying it.

I can't believe any one would want to see this film again…It was terrible! And I mean Terrible! I'm a big Night fan…loved Lady in the Water etc but this film was seriously bad. When I went to the cinema more than half the audience walked out. I only stayed out of loyalty to M Night. Hope his next film is better or my loyalty will disappear. Sorry M Night but it was bad…really bad.

although the happening had its flaws, (like every other movie EVER MADE), it was one of the most original and most exciting of nights films. i loved it and have to say that at midnight ill be at the 24 hour walmart with my hands open!!!!!!!
You know it cracks me up when the general public complains that “LITW” was too complicated of a story, but then when “The Happening” comes out, which happens to be a simple story, everyone hates it! Whatever… M. Night, you still rock my socks! Watching people kill themselves is CREEPy as HELL!!!

Yes, this will probably (hopefully) have a slip cover. Since I'm buying the Blu-ray edition though it doesn't really matter.
Yeah, Doug, as much as I want to like it…I can't. Lol. It was bad, lol. But I have to buy it or I'll feel naked without a whole M. Night collection, haha.
